Erik Jakobs, is President and Founder of Brookfield Mortgage Company.  He has over 20-years' experience in the lending industry which includes title work, underwriting, human resources, training, and expediting all phases of the loan process from application to closing with a variety of mortgage products.  A native of New Hampshire, Erik thoroughly enjoys the outdoor lifestyle available year-round where he and his three children ski, boat, fish, hike, camp and just enjoy being outdoors. Much of the time after school he is cheering on the kids at their sporting events and has coached football for the past 3 years in the Lakes Region Youth Football League.  

The aspect of his job he most enjoys is helping people and he is willing to spend the time with folks that have tough challenges so they can finance a home. He excels in figuring out the difficult loans that many others in the industry would not take the time to work on. Construction and renovation loans are also a favorite.  Working with builders and homeowners putting together a great home is satisfying. All of the inspections are done by Erik which helps projects move quickly.   Erik is a Certified Green Professional certified by the National Association of Homebuilders and has some good ideas in this area that may be helpful.  His knowledge and attitude will make your transaction a great experience.
